Hyped by the internet, I ordered this drop about half a year ago. The internet also convinced me that I should smell whisky. I then imagined that I was smelling whisky, vanilla, a little touch of leather, and cigar. But I don’t! I smell rum from Venezuela, Ron Botucal Reserva Exclusiva (formerly Diplomatico) to be precise. Along with a micro trace of leather and cigar. And all of this in a heaviness that is so oppressive that I wouldn’t have expected it from such a fluid liquid. I wore this stuff three times, okay that was in summer, maybe that was the mistake. The ladies liked it quite a bit and it caused a wow effect for some. Precisely because it doesn’t smell like perfume, but more like a study with spirits on the table and cigar in the air. I can’t wear this, at least not under these circumstances, because the brew hits me right in the face as the wearer. I can’t assess the sillage myself, but I can imagine that others experience the same. We’ll see, in winter, outside, it could work, maybe also around Christmas, that could fit. For summer - no go!
