Good Girl was a bad girl, but now she's a little better, and that's not good.
People have said this doesn't resemble the original....I completely disagree. It is lacking...something intriguing that the original has...
OH. I KNOW! It's lacking chaos. Chaos is what made Good Girl what it is.
This is more gourmond-leaning, and contains less musky, floral (odd, considering the name), and over-the-top pandemonium. I don't always Good Girl, but when I do, I'll be reaching for the original or Legere.
This is smoother, to be sure. The mandarin (I didn't know it contained mandarin, but immediately I recognized that the citruses were more mellow and sweeter) is less abrasive than the bergamot (or whatever the hell) in the original.
In the drydown this veers nearly into a neo-amber. It's plushy in texture. More forgiving, and, much less...you know...insane. It's as if GG pulled herself together, but became less interesting in the process.
