Shy, but not without charm

Aimez-Moi's scent starts off sweet and is clearly dominated by violet - very romantic, and I also smell something fruity beneath it.
Compared to the horror violet Insolence, the opening is lovely and not overwhelming. Very sweet, feminine, almost shy. Perhaps I am being too influenced by the name here, but for me, the fragrance has something almost cute about it.

On the skin, the sweet opening note gradually fades away. A beautiful violet remains. Not too powdery, not too sweet, not too hidden behind other heavy notes (wood, incense, white flowers, etc.). What is missing is elegance, and the kind of elegance that radiates a certain (feminine) strength.
It took me a little while to realize that Aimez-Moi cannot be elegant at all. She is too young for elegance. She is a girl, and she wants to be loved. She looks at you with big violet-blue eyes, and if your heart hasn’t already melted at that moment, it certainly will when you hear her soft voice asking "please?" after a little pause.
Aimez-Moi has her very own charm, which is completely sincere and speaks of a pure, perhaps even naive soul. And what does one do as a person with feelings? One takes care of the fragrance, protects it, nurtures it, and never lets it go.

I only know the vintage one. This one doesn't seem very similar to it.

Yes, it's a different bottle; I'll post a photo when I get the chance. I trust your description! But there are definitely different versions; the old one was amazing (beautiful!), but a real standout!

Are you talking about a vintage bottle from the 90s or even the N'Aimez que Moi, which inspired Aimez-Moi? It could also be that your skin brings out a lot more strength of the scent than mine does ;)

I have the vintage version, which is not shy and elegant at all, definitely not playful. - Apparently, it has been reformulated a lot!
