18 years of private pleasure, until 1941 when "everyone" could join in.
Lilac wraps itself opulently in warm resins.
A beautiful kind of nostalgia.*

Such magnificent fragrances existed back then; even the name suggests something noble.

It would probably be too classic and floral for me, but the nostalgia factor (and the bold bottle) is really tempting.

Now it makes sense why it's suddenly almost 10 euros more expensive at an online retailer.

What amazing scents those were! Compared to that, a large part (99%) of the new releases is complete garbage.

Lilac is currently rushing past me in many front gardens ;D And yet, I would be curious to see how it presents itself in this setting.

Amazingly good recreation of a bath atmosphere from the 1920s (actually up until WWII).
Today, we're used to different scents in this regard, fresh and "clean."
The lilac overpowers the rose and is captured by waxy resins. The incense is very subtle, which adds to the elegance.
Lavishly rich.
