Musc Originel 1988 Carrement Belle

One of the glaring injustices of my personal fragrance universe is the fact that my favorite musk (the fine, soft, light one) always hovers on the edge of my perception threshold and keeps slipping beneath it again and again……

Therefore, I can often only recognize this particularly fine type of musk by its effect on the other ingredients, and less by its scent itself…….

It’s quite similar with MUSC ORIGINEL……my 1.8 ml sample will be just enough for one more extensive test…..that’s how much I need to perceive it somewhat clearly……

AAAABUT: What I do perceive is absolutely enchanting…!

I catch a whiff of an incredibly soft, warm, and sensual musk scent……paired with delicate, light flowers that I cannot identify individually…….a feature that I also greatly appreciate in fragrances……I usually dislike it when individual notes stand out too strongly and clearly differentiate themselves from the others…….that is definitely not the case here….

Here it holds true: “Everything is ONE”

As delicate and gentle as this beautiful scent is: it is not “clinically clean”…..and that is exactly what makes it particularly appealing to me……

Somewhere in these 0.9ml that I have now dabbed on my wrist, a tiny little creature is hiding……I wouldn’t go so far as to describe the scent impression as distinctly “animalistic”……those are already different calibers for me (e.g. MAAI)…..nevertheless, there is this restrained yet clearly perceptible sensual-sexual undertone……like warm, soft, and unperfumed women’s skin …..

MUSC ORIGINEL is a “skin scent” par excellence….

And since it is also very tempting in terms of price, my high dosage requirement will fortunately not be my downfall :-D…..
