Well, is it already Christmas
It really seems to be one of those fragrances where skin type plays a crucial role in perception.
For example, I cannot understand at all how one could think of sweat or any unpleasant body odors when sniffing Declaration.
If I had read the comments here before purchasing, I probably would never have bought a bottle, but luckily I came across a sample some time ago, and since then it has become one of my absolute favorites.
I find that immediately after the first spray, a cozy warmth surrounds you. For me, the orange note is also very noticeable, and it generally smells very spicy and playful.
Personally, the scent reminds me of childhood days with family. When the freshly cut Christmas tree is set up and my father has helped himself to the basket full of oranges. His fingers always smelled very pleasant after peeling, and strangely enough, I always think of those situations and scent impressions when I wear the fragrance.
From that perspective, I see Declaration more as a scent for colder days to brighten the mood and not for hot summer days.
One must certainly commend the perfumer for understanding their craft and that Declaration is a high-quality little water. In this regard, all critics seem to agree.
Conclusion: One should definitely test Declaration for themselves. Body chemistry decides whether you love or hate the scent. I definitely belong to the former category.

Also, a little trophy from me for the great review. :)
I don't know the scent, but you described it beautifully. Check out Les Senteurs Gourmandes Figue Sauvage... ;-)) Cheers!
