Smoky fougère with plenty of steam and an amber base. Starts sour-herbaceous with smoke and slight animalistic accents. Underrated.

I really like the opening of this one, and it sparked a lot of enthusiasm for me. However, it quickly turned into something that felt like generic designer mass-market stuff. At least, that's how it reminded me. The beautiful nuances from the beginning were completely overshadowed by a very dense, synthetic, heavy scent curtain. That's why I didn't like it and rated it a bit lower.

I could have done without the caramel; in the end, it unfortunately gets a bit sweet. But I forgive the scent for that since it's a designer fragrance, and that's how I measure it. And for that, I actually liked it surprisingly well. It's not that I don't like designers in general, but if I do, I prefer the classics like Terre D'Hermes, Antaeus, Kouros, etc.
