Woody-fruity seduction from the master
It must originate from the handwriting of a truly great perfumer to break the chain of thousands of uniform "Floral-Fruity" scents.
A fruity floral perfume from CARVEN??
And then also from the grand master Francis K.?
THIS has to be experienced!!!
With the first spray, I immediately think: Oh no, not another one??
But but... let’s not be so hasty with quick judgments.:o)
Absolutely essential: Do NOT test the scent on paper, but directly on the skin or on clothing!
So after this first (somewhat expected) ordinary fresh-fruity impression (apricot, mandarin....) I stroll a bit bored to test other perfumes.
After a few more tests and conversations with the saleswoman, I sniff again at my wrist with Carven Le Parfum.

A woody warm sweet and floral scent surprisingly emerges! I can clearly smell ylang, hyacinth, and jasmine.
A bit later, the base of sandalwood and patchouli adds depth and "saves" the perfume from the common floral-fruity finish. It's hard to describe, but the scent has that certain something! (Patchouli-sandalwood with fruits??-.o)
The base comes particularly beautifully to life on clothing and hair! I feel downright French, young, and chicly perfumed!:o)
On rainy, cold days like today, the scent caresses me on my fleece sweater! Warm, creamy-floral-apricot-woody. That's how I would describe it now.
The scent lasts a very long time on clothing and hair, and on my skin, it lasts a good 5-6 hours.
Anyone who enjoys white blooming flowers with woody-fruity depth should definitely test Le Carven!

@Ginger: Yes, it does have sillage, but more on clothing than on skin! I applied it today at 2 PM (on a fleece jacket), and it spreads warmly with quite acceptable sillage! :)
