Space for Women Cathy Carden 1994

I have often delighted a friend with fragrances - but the luck was probably more on my side, as my gifts always went unmentioned.
Until I, becoming cautious, only gifted her a mini of Space.
She had wide eyes upon opening the little bottle and was in ecstasy when she dabbed on the scent.
I was surprised by her emotional outburst, as it did not match her temperament at all.

That she liked the fragrance, however, did not surprise me at all.
My mother and I still enjoy wearing it.
The floral abundance of rose, jasmine, and tuberose is truly extraordinary!
Along with the voluminous woody note from fresh woods, rounded off with patchouli.
It must have smelled like this under the glass dome that transported a precious piece of nature through the endless "Space" in the film "Silent in Outer Space".
I always envision the scene where the little robot faithfully waters the plants as it glides through the galaxies.
A film that moves me to tears.

However, the reserved friend asked me for a second bottle of Space, as her dear husband is also "crazy" about it.
After a long abstinence from the internet, I finally rediscovered the fragrance on eBay, and I will fulfill her wish.
I also couldn't say no to a large bottle for myself of the beautiful "spacy" scent.

Then I dream myself back under the glass dome, silently shooting through space, with the many plants, cared for by the little robot friend.
