I immediately buy Caudalie's natural and exotic vinous approach, especially when I smell their "Parfum Divin"...
"Parfum Divin" is a rose perfume. With stem and thorns, green and radiant, serious and pungent, juicy and sometimes dry. Tart. Not too masculine tart, it retains its enormous femininity, but still tart and austere. In a good sense. With class, with naturalness, with experience. V(eilchen) and V(anille) fortunately do not make it too dusty and heavy. They are homeopathically dosed. Otherwise it wouldn't have worked either. It remains a rose. Not a floret - but a rose. Full and whole and self-confident. It knows what it can do and who it is. In the plant sense, in the noble sense, in the royal sense. And yet accessible to all "the people". Aromatherapy vibes without being too hippie'esque. Clearly perfume, not room fragrance. And that's a good thing. "Parfum Divin" is good. Bright and majestic. Even if I don't completely love and adore all facets of the rose - the overall package is right.

I love this fragrance, which I think is very unusual, even if it comes across as harmless in a way. It's the only fragrance that makes me downright heartbroken that it's no longer being made.
