....sautéed in butter, was my first thought.
The scent of rice is, along with a subtle zestiness, the first thing that wafts towards you. In my opinion, this zestiness lasts quite a while. So a few drops of lime over the fluffy rice.
I hardly perceive the rose. At some point in between, it subtly greets and breathes a bit of elegance into the rice ball. Vetiver grounds the whole thing a bit. Sweet towards the end - perhaps for people who usually avoid sweet scents. I hardly find it noticeable as sweet.
Overall, I find the scent very pleasant. It has something delicious, casual, is creamy, powdery, very understated and close to the skin. It is unusual and worth experiencing. No other scent I have encountered so far is comparable. Sometimes I perceive it as harmonious, sometimes as disharmonious.
A test was enough for me, though. Fine scent, but it doesn't suit my taste. I smell like skin anyway, and I prefer to eat rice balls .... very many by the way, at that price.
