Finally, I have you back!

Again and again, I encounter this golden beau. And time and again, he gets to come home with me, where he always feels comfortable. However, since his owner is a bit fickle with his fragrance preferences, one could also say moody, he has to leave just as often. Due to the extremely hot temperatures in the past few weeks, my collection has shrunk to almost 10 fragrances, and I was desperately looking for a freshness kick as quickly as possible. I tried Guerlain's Ideal Homme Cologne, L'Eau Declaration by Cartier, and of course the already well-established freshie.
The Guerlain EDC is very nice, but I went through almost 50ml in 2 weeks...because it is just so fleeting...of course, it's a Cologne...got it! The Cartier is similar; the 50ml bottle is now 2.5 weeks old, and there should be about 20ml left. That's why I remembered the super beautiful scent from Chanel; apart from Allure Sport, I liked all of them from the line. The Allure Homme Sport Cologne Sport (the dumbest perfume name of all time, nothing worse can come after this) almost made me buy it, but Blanche ultimately won due to its better and known longevity. I’ll be getting the Cologne in a larger bottle next week...it should actually hold quite well, from what I've read afterward.
Blanche actually combines everything I love in fragrances. Citrusy freshness, peppery spice/sharpness, powdery creaminess, and a warm woodiness. No component ever becomes too much while wearing it; especially the Allure DNA blends perfectly with the citrusy and lightly peppery spice. Since I've been wearing Blanche again, Allure PH has also become a hot contender for fall/winter; I really loved it over 10 years ago. It’s really kind of crazy how fluctuating it is with fragrances, out...in...great...oh, not anymore, gone again, but then back...it seems to depend so much on mood and season...because right now, it’s a mystery to me how I could ever part with it!?! Sure, it's not particularly exciting or mega thrilling...but my therapist advised me not to get so worked up anymore...so that’s approved;-)!
Blanche is simply a super feel-good fragrance that always fits, which is very well received by many, just like Allure PH. It lasts a wonderful 6-7 hours on me and becomes woodier, warmer, and a bit sweeter towards the end. Despite its freshness, there’s no shower gel note to be detected (a big plus!). Despite its sweet spiciness, it’s never too much or starts to annoy. Not a trace! The sillage is quite decent, but it never comes off as intrusive, even in business!
Conclusion: A fresh classic all-rounder that is never in or out, very unisex, can score points everywhere, and the price is reasonable! I’m curious to see how it performs against the Sport Cologne in a direct comparison. You really can't go wrong here without getting a bore!

To be honest, I haven't noticed any 2 variants at all!

Nice comment! I just can't figure out the offer; only one version is listed here on Parfumo. But it seems there are both the EdT and EdP versions if you look online. Or am I wrong?

Great comment on a nice fragrance, but I would never get it. It just seems too boring to me :-)

So if you don't find Bergamask too citrusy, then this one should suit you perfectly!

Citrus? Oh no... then forget it.

You’ll probably say it smells like citrus cleaner :-) But in my opinion, it would be a good trade for Bergamask :-))

I've never smelled it! Should I give it a try? Is it something for the Mezza?
