Allure Homme Sport Cologne Chanel 2016

The Accords line from Chanel is a well-known series. With many flankers and variations. However, they all share a certain creaminess.

The Sport Cologne stands out a bit from the rest.

It opens with a maximum citrus freshness. Typical Cologne, one might think. Then an interesting player sneaks into the game. Green-spicy and almost herbal, lovage, also known as Maggikraut, joins in. Known from the kitchen. Often used for salads and soups.

The spice blends with the citrus to create a bitter, slightly airy light scent.
Resting on a musk base. Which sets a slightly soapy bright background melody.

A relatively simple Cologne that still takes quite interesting paths.

Even after a few hours, the lovage-citrus blend is still easily recognizable.

Due to the interesting combination, it’s not just a refresher for scorching hot days. Rather, it is always wearable. Elegant and casual at the same time.
I particularly like the absence of creaminess. I always found it annoying and out of place in the Allure Homme scents. Good that this one is different.

Performance is completely fine.
