Missed Opportunity
After I initially had a sample of Chance Eau Tendre that I enjoyed wearing, but wasn't entirely sure if I liked it enough to buy it, I wanted to test its "sisters" as well.
I then made sure to test Chanel Chance on my skin. My first reaction was a surprised "Where have I smelled you before?" I found Chance not bad at all, but was rather astonished by the dominance of the fruity sweetness.
The realization didn't take long to come. Chance strongly reminds me of Miss Dior (2011), mind you, not the original.
The similarities probably lie in the fruity-sweet top note
Jasmine in the heart note, and patchouli and vetiver in the base note.
Otherwise, the other components differ. Still, for me, the two are scent twins.
Since I already own Miss Dior, and that's already more of an exception for me because the type of sweetness is actually too intense for my taste (yet I had to have it), I will generously pass on Chance.

My mother loves Chance, which I think smells exactly like Coco Mademoiselle. I don't understand how the twins come from the same house...
