Chanel, smooth and refined!
Anyone who was expecting a blockbuster or something unprecedented from this fragrance will be disappointed. Chanel has wandered onto the path of light creaminess.
One might praise the earlier classics, of course! But still, Chanel is forging new paths, in a fine and noble way, but quietly, without a bang and without being truly special!
Nevertheless, I really like this scent, the only one in this line that has "persuaded" me to buy it!
A fine, very creamy, not too powdery hint accompanies me for some time, but without shouting "here I am." Quite wearable on hot days, but above 30 degrees, I do miss the freshness of a summer fragrance. Usable year-round, always appropriate and never intrusive!
The matching complement like body lotion and shower gel is supposed to be released in autumn, which should help the fragrance last a bit longer on the skin. I found Paris-Venise to be the most long-lasting of these three new Les Eaux de Chanel, and also the most feminine!
What is written in the fragrance pyramid is indeed what you get. Those who do not like neroli can still be assured with this Eau de Toilette that nothing is sharp and everything is very finely blended with vanilla and tonka bean. These three fragrance notes harmonize wonderfully together. Not too sweet at all, wonderfully soft and cuddly, yes, like a very expensive body cream. So airy-melting, radiant, yet warm, sensual, slightly oriental, but unobtrusive! From beginning to end, simply beautiful!
Great for cuddling on the couch in the evening, but also during the day when you don’t know what to wear.
Simply smelling good and well-groomed, that is Chanel's idea, nothing more and nothing less.
If that is too little, there is no need to test this Paris-Venise; everyone else should hold it under their nose and give it a chance.
Maybe they would be as positively impressed as I am!
Addendum:
I must also note very positively that this fragrance bears no resemblance to any existing scent, which is not so self-evident these days!

It not only smells good and well-groomed but also very elegant!
I’d gladly leave a trophy for that ;-)
