Coco Mademoiselle, just for you.
I see mixed reviews about this perfume, with some criticizing its price and performance, while others praise this lighter, more intimate version of Coco Mademoiselle. While I agree it’s expensive (as is everything from Chanel), I think it has its place in the perfume world.
I take this as an Eau de Cologne. Bright, light, fresh, and almost gone after 30 minutes—leaving just a trace of its presence on your skin. It can be used after bathing, as a pick-me-up in the summer heat, or as a lightweight perfume for when you’re at home.
L’Eau Privée starts big and bright with orange which, after about 5–10 minutes, turns into a transparent, dialled back version of the EdP’s signature floral heart, mixed with a clean, slightly powdery white musk. After about 30 minutes, it’s the faintest skin scent if not gone completely. I adore this perfume’s opening and development so I have no issues with re-applying when I notice it’s gone.
I’m not one for wearing perfume to bed, but this certainly has its place in my collection, and I’ve loved it since I bought it.
