Is this Chloé?

Well, does anyone still remember when you just pack away the samples that relevant fragrance and beauty companies send you into a drawer? Because they are always a bit too oriental and heavy? Hardly any variety, so that you don't even hold them to your nose anymore? I definitely do. I can do well without musk, but I'm not a fan of heavy syrupy orientals or melancholic perfume sweetness in general. In light of this, Nomade Naturelle was already on its way to becoming a room spray, and suddenly I smelled something unusual. Familiar sample sweetness with… leather? Oak moss? What was that? For once, I spared a wrist and was surprised. Briefly a fruity coolness, quickly something creamy-nutty that lingers, herbaceous and fruity, then sweet-mossy-leathery-woody, almost tobacco-like.

It smelled like a lazy day at the beach during summer vacation, salt, musk, and for the third time slathered in sunscreen with sunscreen stains on the book where the sand sticks. Cozy. And this despite the fact that, if I had to choose, I would rather go to the cold than the Mediterranean. So, no inner memory that I often recall with longing.
I can also relate to the association of others with desert wind and dates. This scent smells warm to me, fruity enough not to be too heavy. Warm, but rather heated like one feels after a sunny day in a sun-drenched land, when the heat of the day slowly fades and you still - or finally - smell the exotic flowers, ethereal oils, musk, and the rest of the warmth in the air.

A great perfume, definitely noticeable and sweet, but unique, not a cotton candy scent. Also something for women who usually prefer it more herbaceous and grassy. For those who usually jump on the sweet fragrance pyramid: Do not order blindly, this one might not appeal to you. All Nomades are, in my opinion, very unchloéesque, so if you like the classic Chloé, smell it first, these are very, very different. If you are not a Chloé fan (read: me!), you will appreciate the absence of the often overpowering rose.

For me personally, one of the first sweeter scents that I like. One that makes me long for summer in spring and for winter in autumn. Successful.
