Noble Little Stuff
Much has been written about the EDP...certainly a classic. And also a fragrance that tends to polarize. Allegedly, it often smells like this in brothels. Well, us women lack the corresponding experience - except for those who work there. But apparently, the perfume has its desired effect...
I had the EDP in my younger years (early 90s) as a dupe and as a mini. Back then, I wasn't such a fan of orientals, as I am today, so I managed quite well with it. What I acquired about 1 or 2 years ago was, of course, a reformulation. But even an (alleged?) vintage EDP didn't excite me as much as the extrait. This clearly shows me the power the original once had. A fruity (peach-heavy), vanilla-sweet oriental, subtly floral. You either like it or you don't...I do! Perfect for dreary November evenings.
The bottle of the extrait is also very noble: like the EDP, it has a cap inspired by the Taj Mahal, but made of heavy thick glass, of course as a splash, like most extraits.

Yes, the extrait is definitely a fine drop. I also found a bottle by chance for a good price.
