During my visit to my regular perfumery yesterday, the nice lady clearly wanted to expand my, in her eyes, too narrow fragrance horizon and sprayed two scents on my wrists that were diametrically opposed to my perfume preferences. I really tried to get something out of them, but I was unsuccessful. One of the two was Wish Pink Diamond from Chopard. Chopard is well-known for high-quality watches and exquisite jewelry in the luxury segment. So my expectations were quite high despite the girly pink color of the perfume. However, the supposed fragrance treasure turned out to be a simple counterfeit. Instead of the expected high-quality floral-fruity bouquet, a cloud similar to cheap drugstore scents rose from my wrist, strongly reminiscent of the sweet synthetic additives that flavored a large part of the aromatic black teas in the eighties. I was unable to detect the fruits or flowers listed in the fragrance pyramid. Instead, I thought I perceived an artificial raspberry note, even though raspberries were not supposed to be present at all. Even after about an hour and a half - when the scent thankfully left my wrist - there was no noticeable scent progression, which in itself is not necessarily a bad thing. I appreciate a whole range of monolithic perfumes and creations with only slight changes in the structure of the scent. However, given the lukewarm, bland top note, a further development that would have given the EDP more pep, depth, and body would have been quite desirable.
P.S.: As I gather from the information above, the fragrance apparently is no longer being produced. It seems this hasn't reached "my" perfumery yet. The fading of the pink trinket is not too tragic a loss.

I experienced it just like you did. A faint raspberry, that's unfortunately all there is...

The fragrance notes sound pretty scary. There was exactly one women's perfume from Chopard that was amazing: Casmir! And it got reformulated to death.
