Merry Christmas to you all, belatedly!

I got to know this wonderful fragrance thanks to my mother's colleague :))
She gifted me this scent on my 18th birthday this year.
Since I know and love Christina Aguilera By Night (By Night is the fruity version of Hypnotik Poison), I somehow knew that the original would appeal to me too :D
And it really does!
I've known By Night since I was 15 :))
I always had BN in my school bag and would spray it on whenever I felt like it :))
BN is fruity, vanilla, and cheeky ;))
Yes, the Christina Aguilera fragrances don’t last very long...
Still, I find it unfair that most are rated so poorly here!
You definitely get your money's worth! Many celebrity fragrances have a synthetic progression and smell very cheap.
But all the Christina Aguilera fragrances smell different and are special in their own way!
Above all, I think they don't smell like teen fragrances; even though I wore By Night at 15, I believe that young women from 20/25 can wear Christina Aguilera fragrances well.

Christina Aguilera (that's the name of the fragrance I want to describe) is, in my opinion, a very nice everyday scent :))
It's neither too strong nor too light.
Neither too sweet nor too fresh.
I have tested many expensive designer fragrances that are supposed to be fresh and suitable for everyday use...
And I can sadly say that 90% of them did NOT smell like a 100 Fr. fragrance at all, in my opinion!
Most smelled either like cleaning products or soap...
Additionally, they were very sharp and synthetic!
When it comes to fresh fragrances, I can personally say it's hard to find a nice and good fresh scent for a sweet nose like mine...
I don’t like it when the fragrance is extremely fresh or smells like a flower field; citrus scents are unfortunately nothing for me either!
I hope you can understand what I mean...
I much prefer when the scent (if it should be an everyday scent) smells like moisturized skin :D
And this fragrance smells just like that, like a fine, high-quality body lotion.*.
I'll start with the scent description and hope you enjoy reading :))
The scent...
starts off very refreshing but quickly becomes creamy/sweet.
The blackcurrant is only intensely noticeable for a few seconds; after that, I no longer smell this note.
Jasmine gives the scent progression on my skin a very sensual, warm, and extremely feminine note.
The peony seduces and refreshes the senses at the same time ;))
The rose note also gives me a feeling of pure, clean, and freshly moisturized skin... And that’s exactly what I want in an everyday fragrance!
Musk is wonderfully powdery and delicate at the same time.
The musk note in this fragrance progression reminds me of Musc Diamant by Lancôme, which also smells beautifully delicate and extremely feminine.
Only that Musc Diamant has a creamy, slightly caramelized almond note, while Christina Aguilera leans more towards the fruity side, but again, NOT in a synthetic fruity way!
(I couldn't smell any other fragrance notes in the progression, unfortunately.)
I have tried my best to describe this fragrance as accurately as possible :))
For me, this fragrance is a little treasure that I don’t want to miss in my bag anymore, as it accompanies me daily :))
I love wearing this fragrance, especially after showering or when I don’t know what to wear for the day.
The only thing I don’t find so great is the H+S.
For the first 3 hours, this fragrance is very present, but then it becomes quieter.
What I want to emphasize is that Christina Aguilera is not a loud fragrance, but also not a cool fragrance!
Yes, it is fresh/creamy but also a bit sweet/warm due to the fruity notes.
Belatedly, I wish you all a hopefully beautiful and healthy Christmas season again! ☃️??
May I ask how your Christmas season was and what beautiful gifts you received? :)

It's a pleasure to read such a detailed fragrance review. :) This cheapie is truly a solid everyday all-rounder. If a perfume has been on the market for over 10 years, it must mean something. It was never my holy grail, but it's definitely above average among drugstore scents.

Another beautifully written piece :D Unfortunately, black currant isn't for me... I spent Christmas in a small circle and received some very lovely earrings as a gift :D I hope you had a wonderful holiday season too!!!

Both my mom and I, as well as my mother-in-law, really like this scent. It's suitable for women of all ages.

If you have the chance to get the matching body lotion, go for it! It's really great and smells just as wonderful as the perfume :)

I don't know the scent, but you described it very beautifully and in detail! We only give gifts to the kids for a few years now ;-)

A good friend had been looking for this scent for years because she had forgotten its name in the meantime. But of course, I knew which brand she meant based on the bottle description, so I gifted her a bottle for her birthday. And guess what, I found one from 2007 at Rossmann and thought the scent was very pleasant; never overpowering, but always present. Gifts are off the table for me on these shopping event days! :-)
