Spicy Dark Elixir with Fougère Hints

Since this wonderfully "dark" fragrance is not widely available and there is no "scent report," meaning a review, I will take the plunge today and start writing in the night. Describing perfumes just before dawn is not very "common," but the "night" inspires me to "feel" such not exactly "simple" scents, to approach them and find words for them.
This one has quite a few "woody" nuances, especially since juniper (berry) is on the ingredient list. Quite dark like the wood and the berry itself. And spicy! A rich, warm spiciness, slightly rough and "cottony" at the same time. Nutmeg and cardamom fill all the "gaps" with their aroma. While they still leave room for earthy and balsamic scents. A kind of mossy base and probably also lavender (which is not listed) provide a fragrant "fougère feeling" in the background. Yet the dark (not gloomy) "forefront" remains true to "Musgo Real-black Edition," even as lighter notes (citrus fruits) repeatedly approach and remain clearly recognizable throughout the entire progression. Long-lasting and well-projecting, this "dark elixir" is definitely all that, yet never exaggerated or intrusive. It always remains pleasantly noticeable. It reminds me of the kind of darkness that lays protectively and "grounding" over everything that is glaring and "sharp," softening it to a cottony-spicy-woody warmth. A kind of "soul comforter" and soother. Very beautiful!!
I like it a lot ;-))
