Today my sample of the fragrance arrived and I was super curious. There have already been several videos, reviews, and statements about this scent, but I obviously wanted to form my own opinion.
Right upon spraying, I understood the comparisons to Blonde Amber, Hedonistic, and Ecstatic. It really does smell as if Clive Christian simply mixed all three fragrances together. The fragrance note Addictive Fusion already suggests that the two scents were just blended. At least that's what you can smell right away. Personally, I don't really like Ecstatic that much, and it smells a bit more like that fragrance.
After the opening, I perceive a mix of Ecstatic and Blonde Amber. This gourmand sweetness from Blonde Amber and the floral creaminess from Ecstatic are perfectly fused. It's a pity that the wonderful cherry from Hedonistic doesn't stand out here as much. Otherwise, the scent would be almost perfect for me.
So I unfortunately miss something, or it doesn't quite meet what I hoped for from the fragrance.
The longevity and sillage are okay but also not outstanding, though it doesn't have to be. The fragrance house and this scent are more focused on subtle fragrances, and that's a good thing. The scent can also impress without being a showstopper, and despite not liking it 100%, it is a lovely rounded fragrance that perfectly combines gourmand sweetness with floral notes.
Schöne Beschreibung. Trifft es genau. Ich bin auch kein Fan vom Ecstatic und daher hatte ich ähnliche vibes wie Du beim Testen. Zu blümelig das Ganze. Da ergreife ich die Flucht. Panda ohne mich.
