I don't really like the opening either. It has a distinct 'rum note', so it's more sweet and boozy. But thankfully, this opening fades away pretty quickly.

If the opening weren't so harsh - after half an hour to an hour, it's the finest leather-osmanthus-rose scent I know.
I got to sniff this fragrance in Galway (yes, I already knew it before, but whatever) - and then we went to Roisin Dubh. It's a very well-known Irish music and comedy bar. Yes, the scent fits perfectly. It matches the people. The vibe. The music. The togetherness. I could do with a bit less alcohol involved (in the scent AND in the bar 😂), but good luck telling that to the Irish!
Maybe I'll treat myself to it someday. I find the entire DD heavenly beautiful.
