Mark Buxton was a real prodigy back then.
It's hard to categorize. One moment I think "sexy and mysterious in a tuxedo," and then again "maybe more for a construction worker," since it's quite rough-spicy.
It has a noble side with soapy cool incense, an erotic side with rich roses & cumin sweat, and a rough, heavily spiced side.
Cool notes like citrusy-soapy incense, cardamom, pepper, and nutmeg meet warm notes like clove, cinnamon, and dark styrax resin.
The honey comes across as wild-aromatic and only slightly sweet, without being sticky. The rose gives the fragrance that certain something as a game changer.
In the end, it's a bit too overloaded with spices for me, but this scent deserves respect. That was real niche back then!
Thanks to MonMedusa for the testing opportunity.
