Series 10: Clash - Radish x Vetiver Comme des Garçons 2019

It’s probably entirely synthetic, but this CdG comes across as a playful, organic-smelling fragrance. The radish at the start unwraps a sharp freshness softened by the earth’s dampness.It is all wraped in one big clean cold pure water drop. I imagine it on a May morning in a Japanese valley. This is about precision and Zen-like purity. The scent gradually develops a dimension of vegetal creaminess, with vetiver coming through and a spicy sweetness. In summer, it’s completely gone within two hours, but for the rest of the year, it offers a double ride that always lifts my spirits. I really love it. Unconventional and funny.
