Sweet makeup
A powdery perfume with an amber finish, composed of iris, violet, rose, white musk and amber. In the first part, remember about women's cosmetics. After about two hours an amber note takes over which overshadows the flowery accord. At one point the scent is predominantly amber, with the addition of a light musky touch

Pink Horror
The first encounter with this fragrance was extremely unpleasant.
An acquaintance had applied it generously, and the whole room filled with the scent of a rancid rose that had spent quite some time in the blazing sun. It presses and hurts in my sensory world. The scent is far too artificial, far too overloaded with pink and this whole hypocritical world where virgins frolic, who have never dared to knock over their first domino.

I couldn't help but tell her that the scent is not at all to my liking. She was puzzled, claiming she was so taken with it because it is so beautifully rosy. For me, however, the scent remains a pink horror.

I still spread it out, tapped myself a sample. I wanted to experience the horror live on my skin. I got a headache from this torture. For it is not only far too overloaded with an artificial rose note that also embeds mold in my thoughts, but it literally gave me a headache.

I can't report much about it here, except that the scent is one of those that simply leaves me with a big question mark. Rarely have I felt such aversion to fragrances, but here I just have to completely disengage. Sorry to those who really like it, but with this you could start a witch hunt. Mind you, in the land of pink-loving virginity.

The only good thing here is that the pink horror will soon be over, as it doesn't have much stamina or endurance.

The headaches and the groaning, however, remain.

In the Name of the Rose...
Just as the Rosa del Deserto is not a flowering plant but truly made of sand, the fragrance discussed here is not a rose scent. It is not even a floral scent. It is truly made of passion fruit and hairspray musk. I would say. At least in the top note. But even in the heart note, it changes little: The musk loses some of the hairspray, but the passion fruit remains. Admittedly, there may still be one or another flower added, a hint of clove, perhaps more, but they are so in the background that I can hardly differentiate them behind the dominating passion fruit. There is something powdery about it. Is that iris? I smell powder, but not really iris. And as the passion fruit and the now soft, pleasantly subdued musk fade, the flowers fade equally. No chance for further breakdown.
But that doesn't have to be the case. It is perfectly sufficient to enjoy a slightly sweet, fruity, increasingly powdery, pleasantly wearable scent that is neither too light nor too heavy, that is neither particularly warm nor cold, but simply mild and friendly.
On me, it lasts about 5 hours.
There is nothing that spoils the scent for me. And as mundane as this point may sound, it is ultimately very important. A fragrance can be the fulfillment of all dreams: One single hated note can ruin everything.
I like this extraordinary passion fruit, but I still don't know if I can befriend it in the long run or if it's just a flash in the pan. However, I really like the powdery aspect, and that will surely remain.
Rosa del Deserto di Petra is definitely worth a test.

1 short view on the fragrance
a very feminine rose -based scent, maybe a little synthetiic , but with a soft and discrete sillage. Very affordable price and smart bottle
