Naturally smelling coconut? Vacation vibes? I have found it
Coco Figue has recently moved in with me. I love the scent of coconut. Unfortunately, most coconut perfumes smell too artificial or too oddly sweet for my taste. So I set out here on Parfumo to find THE coconut scent for me. Not an easy task. Eventually, I came across Comptoir Sud Pacifique and decided to buy Coco Figue blind.
And then it finally arrived. The silver, heavy canister is unusual for me, but it still has its charm. It reminds me of my vacations in Thailand.
I take off the cap, spray, and I am on vacation. At the start, I smell fresh fig, nutty and natural coconut, and a lovely, delicate vanilla. I am in LOVE!
After a few minutes, the fig takes a backseat for me, and it becomes more vanilla-like, milky, with a truly beautiful coconut.
As it develops, I smell something slightly green and nutty alongside the coconut, which makes this coconut scent indescribably beautiful and pleasant for me. I only catch a hint of tonka bean. Towards the end, I only perceive a lot of vanilla with natural coconut, the fig leaf has disappeared. On the skin, I can smell it for 4-6 hours, on clothing it lasts much longer.
Coco Figue is for me vacation, sun, sea, coconut palms... a lovely cocktail, relaxing, feeling embraced. Since I always like coconut, it is a lovely gourmand, yet light and gentle year-round scent for me. You don’t leave a trail of fragrance behind you (well, unless you really over-spray), but you feel beautifully enveloped. My husband thought so too.
In fact, I currently enjoy wearing it before going to bed. The scent comforts me... my mom passed away almost 3 weeks ago, and this was actually her last gift to me (from her Christmas money).
