West Indian Lime Crabtree & Evelyn 2007

I got this eau de cologne last summer. The longevity is correspondingly a bit shorter, but the price-performance ratio is great. €39.00 for 100 ml.
The scent starts, as the name suggests, with a strong citrus accord. The lime is more dominant. The lemon doesn't play a big role on my skin. The vetiver adds an interesting green nuance.
The heart note supports the top note mainly through the ginger. The spices take away the typical shower gel character that citrus scents usually have.
The woods in the base note are relatively subtle and allow the entire fragrance to fade away pleasantly.
Although West Indian Lime is found among men's fragrances, it can be considered a unisex scent.
Special tip: in summer, place the fragrance in the refrigerator, then it refreshes even more. A longer longevity can be achieved by spraying the fragrance on clothing.
