West Indian Lime Crabtree & Evelyn 2007

For me, the scent is fresh, slightly sweet, soft, lightly floral, not sour, subtle, and has no sharp citrus note.
Compared to the namesake from Truefitt & Hill, this fragrance is softer, more restrained, less lemony but also less fresh from the start. I don't find a citrus explosion at the beginning, as with Truefitt & Hill. I don't notice any spicy or woody notes. I cannot detect any development of the fragrance on me. As is often the case with citrus scents, the longevity is poor, worse than with the fragrance from Truefitt & Hill. However, there are people for whom this scent lasts all day (reviews on basenotes.net). Sprayed on the wrist, I can only perceive the scent of Crabtree & Evelyn very faintly after about 45 minutes. In contrast, I can still smell the fragrance from Truefitt & Hill clearly (both sprayed at the same time).
In my opinion, West Indian Lime by Crabtree & Evelyn is not only suitable for men.
