Why do only the big names deserve recognition!? I am not on the hunt for the big and well-known brands; I am always searching for treasures! And these can even be waiting for us unnoticed, somewhere very close..
The fragrance Over Drive Noir came to my attention completely by chance; I discovered it in some little shop, love struck immediately, the passion was unstoppable, and my appreciation for this scent was/is very high!
This is a fantastic punch!;-) No, not in the sense that it gives you a headache, but in a positive way, you smell it and you immediately feel wrapped in a cloak of warm oriental flowers, the strong floral arms lift you up gently, they don't let you fall, even a long time after application, they don't lose their strength. So ladylike, so mature is the fragrance! When you love it, you notice how it clings to you just as firmly, because the longevity is very good; the scarves that were sprayed with the scent still smell for days afterwards, without losing their fully unfolded beauty, and you simply don't want to let go of this fragrance. For me, it is a scent of security but at the same time, it is a scent that gives me a certain strength, because it is strong and powerful.
For me, it is a 100 percent Oriental!!
Yes, the scent has something special! I'm completely taken with it; there's a note in there that fascinates me! It could totally smell like a wealthy Upper East Side New Yorker ;-)
I just discovered this fragrance through Sonjoschka and that's why I read your comment. Now I'm completely convinced that I need to try it out. Well written!
Whether it's copied or not: I'm just going to buy this scent since I love oriental fragrances! And why not try something affordable? Two years ago, I bought 4 bottles of O.P. from Black Onyx. I love that scent!
Why shouldn't one buy a good fragrance for a lower price??
Of course, it could be a copy or a scent similar to the original.
I think it's perfectly fine.
Whether one finds the scent well-made is a matter of opinion, but it's definitely a Coco Chanel dupe. You can already see that from the fragrance pyramid...
Over Drive Noir is, admittedly, a very well-made "dupe" of Coco by Chanel. The creator of Coco deserves the recognition. Painting by numbers isn’t art either. Creation Lamis only has dupes on the market.
