Old Money

This is a great fragrance, but unfortunately I think it is difficult to find a place for it in many collections.

Bottle: 9/10 The bottle is perfect for this fragrance. I love the Creed design, and the old school, green label with the slightly champagne-colored liquid makes this look classy as hell.

Fragrance: 7.8/10 This is tough... I really like the way this smells, but it is incredibly old-fashioned. The basil, lavender, and woodsy mix makes for a beautiful fougere fragrance, but it's a bit too barbershop-y; it smells like a barbershop from the 1970s. I still wear it and love wearing it, but I can get how this would turn others off. My wife likes it, but also remarks that it reminds her of her grandfather. So sort of a compliment?

Performance: 8.5/10 I smell this on my skin all day, and it projects well. It would be very easy to overdo the sprays on this one, so be careful.

This is a tough one to recommend. While I really like it and think it performs well, I find that the old-fashioned nature makes it lack versatility. And when it costs $300+, that makes it hard to justify purchasing.
