My first conscious memory of GIT is of an old batch, one of those with bottles simply labeled "Millesime" and a sticker with the perfume's name underneath: naturalness, sillage, and a series of ebbs and flows that continued throughout the day.
I still have 20 ml that I hold on to, proving that if a fragrance is of quality, after almost 20 years, it still is.
It's true, times have changed, the rules, the properties, and even GIT has changed a bit, but for better or worse, it still retains something of the proud elegance that made it what it is.
The references are many, and those who have tried to imitate it anyway, but the King is not dead, long live the King!
