Mandarin Mountain Water...

...for whatever reason Silver Mountain Water. I actually associate that with cool, metallic hints, which are present, but the main note I smell is mandarin. And it's one that has been sitting in the fruit bowl for a while and is about to start going bad. A previous reviewer mentioned something similar, and I can absolutely confirm that. Besides the mandarin, I smell some aquatic notes, maybe a bit of tea, and the typical Creed musk note, which at least somewhat justifies the "Silver" in the name with its metallic nuances.

But well, it’s not about the name. The scent itself is not bad, by any means. It’s an absolutely suitable everyday summer fragrance, perfect for the office. It exudes a fruity freshness and stays close to the skin. Overdoing it is actually not possible, as the sillage is low and the scent is quite fleeting. I expected more in terms of longevity. A fragrance that doesn’t offend anyone, but also doesn’t stand out. Therefore, I find the price unjustifiably high. A scent that you can wear, but don’t have to ;-)

For the price range, it simply comes across as too boring, without surprises or twists. More streamlined and almost too synthetic.

Most of the newer Creed fragrances have this metallic note, but I don't think it's musk; it really feels synthetic. Do you think the typical sweet drydown is more musk or that amber that's always mentioned?!
