Expensive Hype Beast

The opening has freshness from the citruses like Grapefruit and Bergamot, Ginger adds zest and Pepper notes to awaken your olfactory senses. The opening reminds you of OG Aventus, and quickly transitions into the next stage within a couple of minutes.

The famous Aventus Pineapple note lingers in the background as we enter the middle phase and is not as prominent of a fruit note as found in the OG Aventus and it's flanker cologne.

The patchouli notes add to the darkness/earthiness, while Pepper and Cinnamon add to masculine spiciness.

The dry down is often compared to Sauvage Elixir due to notable similarities. The notes of Cardamom, Ginger, Cinnamon, and Grapefruit are the notes that cause the similarities, but the Sauvage Elixir dry down is significantly more spicier, heavier, and Middle Eastern perfumery-like than the Aventus Absolo. There are similarities, but they aren't the same. This Sauvage Elixer-like phase lasts for a couple of hours.

Like any masterfully blended fragrance the top, mid, and base notes bleed into each other with dry down being heavily supported by Pepper, darkness from patchouli, Ambroxn and musks, and woody vetiver.

This scent is significantly different from the OG Aventus and Aventus Cologne. It's been incredibly hyped by perfume influencers, and while it may not suit my personal preferences ( I don't enjoy Sauvage Elixer), others may find it appealing. If you have the means, have this in your collection.
