I've got it
..I really couldn't resist this! I remember the cream from my youth. Wonderful, finally something different from Nivea.... although that one is still unbeaten as the best. SO!
But I am glad to see this relic from a distant time again. It's delightful when I think of the short, stiff skirts from back then. The Courrèges boots - yes, I had some, but only look-alikes (today they call them fakes, pffff).
The scent and the color make me happy, without a doubt. Fresh, more grapefruit-like than orange-lemony, a true thirst quencher. Jasmine and lily of the valley are also easily identifiable. Amazing, as I suspect there is some synthesis involved here. But who knows for sure. This is a zesty refreshment, no comparison to Arancia di Capri, which is slightly sweet, or Bergamotto di Calabria, the bitter-bergamot composition. As a flavor in a drink, I would immediately think of Schweppes, enjoyed in a spring garden.
Cedar fits perfectly in the base. Amber softens everything, making it not quite so squeaky fresh anymore.
The plastic container is amusingly designed. The twist mechanism (half a turn and you can spray, half a turn back and the thing is tight enough for the handbag) is quite practical, and I find the design rather funny.
Longevity is not outstanding, but the fresh woodiness lingers quite discreetly for about 4-5 hours very close to the skin.
For this nostalgia kick, it doesn't get a full score, but since it's a nice little plaything for summer, I don't hesitate to start with 70%.
Cool thing!! (with age, one becomes patient and tolerant....)
