Peppery-Minty in Suspension

When I read the pyramid for Levitation Platinum, I had the worst fears. Pepper, black pepper no less, and mint together in the top note, along with bitter bergamot; how am I going to survive this (shout out to Ergoproxy)?

Ultimately, curiosity won out and I bravely applied two sprays to my hand. Indeed, the opening is peppery, minty, and dark green, herbaceous but not bitter.

This lasts for about 10 minutes, and slowly the true scent of this composition develops. This part is hard to describe, and if it is indeed lavender, then it is in the loveliest, mildest, sunniest form I know. Frankincense is really only present in a microdose here; at least I can't sense any of it.

In projection, a lovely, slightly floral scent spreads with unexpected stability and longevity, while remaining subtle and very noble.

Levitation Platinum is well-suited for both genders and reminds me a lot of MDCI's Chypre Palatin.

Directly on the skin, it is somewhat peppery and herbaceous, but in projection, Levitation Platinum truly "floats." The effect is astonishing, as I feel like I am levitating. One should not underestimate Levitation Platinum. The gentle sillage provides good projection, and this scent aura around the wearer is of unreal beauty, absolutely unobtrusive, slightly sweet, distinguished, and very elegant.

The base notes "solidify" the scent, but do not give it a distinct direction, as the heart note remains present until it fades, and that takes a while. I can still perceive it after 14 hours on my wrist and enjoy it freshly sprayed on my other wrist.

The bottle (available in both standard and Swarovski versions) contains platinum dust and three diamonds.

Levitation Platinum is the third fragrance from the Cuarzo the Circle line by Ramón Béjar, and by now, I am amazed by the quality of these fragrances. They are on par with MDCI perfumes and similar ones, and I am very surprised that so little is known about this perfumer so far. I still have 21 samples ahead of me, but the first three have already convinced me.

It doesn't really convince me; it's a bit too pleasing for my taste. But I guess that doesn't surprise you. :)

That sounds like a very smitten Flori - are you going to propose to the good Ramón at the end of the testing series, ;-)?!

That sounds great, and I have to admit that the bottle also intrigues me a bit.
