Black Diamonds for Ergoproxy

Actually, diamonds correspond to my zodiac sign and are "my" stones. And I quite like colored diamonds - blue, green, red, yellow, champagne - as well. Pure white and black diamonds, however, are not my thing, and I was very curious about how Ramón Béjar implemented the idea of black diamonds.

The opening is overwhelmingly peppery, resinous, and smoky, yet not piercing or scratchy. At this point, I thought this could be a fragrance for Ergoproxy. The peppery note dissipates after a short time, while the resinous-smoky aspect continues with a floral underpinning for about 2 hours. During this time, it becomes a bit weaker and increasingly softer.

Then vanilla stirs up the composition, musk adds sweetness, and the interesting development comes to an end. The sweet vanilla lingers for more than 20 hours, only becoming weaker over time.

Vanilla pods and black diamonds - color-wise still okay, but otherwise???

Black Diamond is definitely a matter of taste; it is not to my liking. It also feels too simplistic for such a high-priced fragrance, even if well made. I just fear, dear Ergoproxy, that it might become too gourmand for you as it develops...

Yep, I like it, but it probably exceeds my budget, and I find the bottle awful. :))

Hmm, I’m not sure which stone matches my zodiac sign, but it’s definitely not black diamonds. The scent sounds good, and I have nothing against something gourmand. :)

Ouch, ouch, I sense trouble... What makes Ergos' heart race usually steals mine, so I should definitely steer clear of this black diamond...
