Which guy is still as tough today as this scent tries to suggest?
I know No. 88 and Dark Rose. Two incredibly great fragrances. Then I thought, let's see what Czech & Speake has to offer.
The scent notes of Cuba actually correspond to my hunting ground. So here we go!
Two sprays on the skin and...... for the next few minutes, one shouldn't drive a car. Any police check would lead to wrong assumptions. A cloud of the finest rum surrounds me. Not bad!! But as an Eau de Toilette?
I wait a bit. I wonder what else is to come. Even I, as a layman, can recognize lime and mint.
Relatively quickly, the base breaks through, and it develops on my skin only in the direction of tobacco. A whole bunch of tobacco leaves is sticking to my arm. It definitely doesn't smell like cold cigarette smoke but really like tobacco leaves.
The complete composition definitely reflects the "postcard idea" of a European about Cuba. Rum, the long drinks made from it, and the best cigars. So the name does not promise too much.
But that was too much tobacco for me! I am indeed a soft non-smoker, and that won't change anytime soon. But maybe I will have the urge to transform into a guy like Hemingway for a few moments. I believe this stuff would definitely help with that.
