Wonderful
With the test of the 4711 Remix Cologne Anniversary Edition, I realized how much I like 'Kölnisch Wasser.' Aqua Admirabilis is also a typical cologne, and I am excited to be able to test a sample of it.
The beginning is very fresh and citrusy, with a slightly bitter note underneath.
After a few minutes, the lavender comes through, and especially pure lemon. The lemon has a bit of a sharpness in the nose. Over time, Aqua Admirabilis becomes beautifully creamy and reminds me of delicious lemon ice cream like we used to have at our pastry shop.
Lavender and lemon remain dominant for a long time, and I can't really smell the neroli and the other notes indicated in the pyramid above.
From the third hour onwards, Aqua Admirabilis becomes soft and slowly recedes.
Aqua Admirabilis is a lovely alternative for anyone who enjoys the scent type 'Kölnisch Wasser.' Great to wear in the summer. The projection is initially very strong, but from the third hour, it becomes very close to the skin. Unfortunately, the longevity is only about four hours for me, but that is typical for many colognes. You just spray again, and that’s fun in the heat anyway.
