Thanks to Gandix. This touches my recently discovered gourmand heart. Under smoky pepper and nutmeg notes, dark chocolate soon reveals itself, like bitter cocoa that comes across almost liqueur-like due to the cognac. Woods add more edge, amber gives more depth, and vanilla adds a benzoin-like quality to the resins, while iris leans more towards white chocolate. Not too sweet overall, though! Great!
