Dapper Dan Dapper Dan 2018 Eau de Toilette

Dapper Dan offers pretty much everything related to men's grooming that one can imagine. Founded with a strong focus on shaving products, the portfolio has since expanded into the fragrance area. After the Dapper Dan Cologne, the Eau de Toilette of the same name was released in 2018.

This fragrance centers around warm patchouli notes and cognac. The scent comes across as subtly restrained and resonates on the skin, rather than trying to stand out with massive presence.

Very nice.

The expected overdose of barbershop is also absent and is instead marked by a combination of slightly smoky sandalwood and minimal citrus freshness. Dapper Dan consciously opts for a natural scent backdrop and refrains from the overdrive of synthetic chemicals.

In fact, I have categorized the fragrance more as the adult brother of D&G Velvet Exotic Leather rather than a barbershop scent.

A truly successful surprise and definitely a recommendation for fans of the mentioned scent notes and the amber-colored spirit.
