After what feels like 100 episodes of Fast & Furious, Cool Water Eau de Toilette feels just as vintage as the exaggerated yet entertaining action series featuring co-star Paul Walker (RIP), who jumps into the sparkling sea in the Davidoff commercial.
In the same scene in Bond films, 007 would of course wear a more refined fragrance - perhaps "Green Irish Tweed | Creed," which is somewhat similar to Cool Water, as the same fragrance director is at work.
… and when the short longevity of about 2-3 hours of the fragrance fades away, I realize with dismay that I only won the traffic light start against a Sunday driver.
Cool Water may be a bit dated and not as exciting as it was in the '90s, but it doesn't deserve the comparison with F&F. It smells more like Brosnan's James Bond than a flashy racer. Out of pure nostalgia, I always keep at least 40ml on the shelf, even though I hardly wear it in public anymore.
