Today, for the first time in two weeks, I was back in the city and thus also in the perfume department. As some may have noticed, I had a little accident, but fortunately, I am mobile again.
And as happy as I was hobbling between the shelves, the rosé-colored bottle caught my eye. Could this be some kind of rose-tinted spray?
In terms of design, it is similar to the original Cool Water, just the color is different. Quite nice actually, but not really imaginative. Well, it is also a flanker, so one doesn't want to deny the family resemblance.
The spray head of the tester was a bit stingy. I had to spray twice; with the first little trickle, you probably couldn't do much.
In true Cool Water fashion, the opening is very alcohol-heavy and unpleasant. After a short while, a sweet, fruity scent emerges. It must be the nashi pear, although I have never smelled one in nature. It strongly reminds me of shower gel or shampoo, so rather unexciting. After some initial difficulties, a sweet, fresh, and innocently floral scent unfolds. Not particularly bad, but nice, youthful, fresh, yet already seen a million times.
At mid-twenties, I feel like I've outgrown it. If our trainee were to wear it, it would be fitting.
Having already mentally checked it off, I made my way home. While I was sitting on the tram, a pleasant, unobtrusive, and floral scent suddenly enveloped me. Until I realized it could be my wrist.
And lo and behold, the scent had shed its extremely banal top note and now seemed almost interesting in comparison.
The fruity sweetness is less present. Soft, powdery, and charming floral notes emerge from the now aquatic freshness. It fits well with the campaign. I've always liked mermaids. What little girl didn't enjoy watching Ariel back in the day?
A young mermaid breaks through a glittering water surface. Curious by nature, with large, innocent eyes, she clutches the white-pink bouquet. A gift from the merman who has been watching her for some time.
Gracefully, she settles on a large rock with her "legs" bent, to take a closer look at the bouquet.
A fine, light scent, but definitely feminine. Rather shy, yet over time it gains a bit of strength. Fueled by soft, fluffy musk and supported by the slightly cool and fresh scent of cedarwood. By no means rich or head-spinning. Soft, pure flowers, underlaid with fruity sweetness, shimmering water droplets, on the threshold to womanhood.
I must admit, I keep sniffing it. Somehow it has something, but it still doesn't convince me. I wouldn't buy it. There are far too many other scents that have caught my interest. And I like the original Cool Water much better.
However, if I had to look for a gift for a young girl, I would definitely choose this one. It is sweet, fresh, young, innocent. You can't go wrong, as it fits well for everyday sports or a trip to the cinema. Or if you don't want to think too much about which scent to wear today. I think it suits the very young better, but that's a matter of taste.
A nice all-rounder for the whole year and any occasion. The scent could find its followers, but I prefer to stick with the blue original. I'm definitely out of the pink age :-)
Mouse, you're awesome! A young lady is getting this scent from me for Christmas this year. And I also liked the classic the most. Thank you so much for testing and reporting, and thanks again for the Christmas tip - Ti
Davidoff, Boss, Calvin Klein, etc. just don’t appeal to me. But thanks for the gift suggestion for my niece :-) ...so I’ll give it a try.

Ah yes, I've also experienced surprisingly pleasant scent developments in the stuffy public transport vehicles :-D. What you're describing sounds great: I would have loved it too --- about 25-30 years ago *gg* :-D
