Umm......
It's November, and no one has spoken up yet?
I'm quite disappointed.
Well, I'll start.
On one of those summer evenings in 2018, when it was too warm to move in most regions of Germany, this commercial came on.
The one where beautiful people frolicked in perfect weather in blue water. Cool Water promotion at its best.
In the end, the hint about the new Cool Water Wave.
Um, what now? Wave new?
Can't be, it says here with me. One of my faves.
Newly bottled or what?
What the fuck????????
But this little bottle, this little bottle, this bright blue bottle - the Caribbean poured into glass, I must have it, absolutely.....
So off to the perfume shop I trust, checking the situation.
First test in the turquoise perfumery yields: Delicious, wearable. But it doesn't last long.
No wonder in the hot July of 2018, when sweat devours even the most intense scent
About four weeks later and 8 degrees cooler, I tried it again.
And took the scent with me.
Although I find 30 euros for 30ml Eau de Toilette quite steep....
But this little bottle.......
A few words about the new Wave:
I like this scent.
For an EdT, it lasts surprisingly long - on me, well-moisturized and pampered, up to 8 hours.
As I mentioned earlier in my statement, it is neither Cool nor Water.
When I look at the supposedly contained notes, I recognize little of it.
Lime smells different - at least in a Caipi :)
I can't judge the Japanese pear.
The jasmine and amber create a note of warm orange juice with the rest of the components.
It is beautiful, but not fresh, rather really warm.
It surrounds you, it penetrates you - it has something embracing, comforting, when a woman is feeling down......
A scent for autumn.
If a touch of cinnamon were added, we would have the perfect Xmas scent.
