Zino is the old-school gentleman who initially comes off as harsh and aloof, but inside he is a warm, attractive, and mysterious guy.
The drydown is simply to die for, sweet, woody, rosy, and warm - just a must for the mature man who knows what he wants and is fully engaged in life.
As a big fan of Tom Ford's Beau de Jour, I learned through various comments and reviews that Zino is said to smell similar and that Zino was the inspiration.
After several comparisons and tests, one can say that the fragrances go in the same direction and are quite close to each other; however, Zino is more complex and becomes noticeably warmer and sweeter
which I prefer, and with the price difference, I would always reach for Zino.
Conclusion
Zino is a timeless fougere that has everything a gentleman needs.
Longevity and sillage are good; you can smell it for 7-8 hours.
In the first 2 hours, the sillage is really top-notch, then it tapers off a bit.
