Iris is not a Japanese scent
Floral chypre. Hmm, well. To explain it in simple terms, it's a very modern, universally appealing, Mitsuko-like scent with about one-fifth of its diffusion power. It smells like a department store counter. The scent of iris doesn't feel particularly Japanese. It's not a familiar scent. It's not a flower that grows around here.
