Spicy Tea

I love tea, maybe not necessarily chai tea, but I love regular black tea even more, which might be one reason why Gucci pour Homme II is one of my favorite fragrances and why I am also very interested in the perfume Infusion Assam.
This scent from Demeter is quite extraordinary compared to most other Demeter fragrances. Because here, a scent development occurs that is not typically expected from Demeter.

The scent:
Incredible! The alcoholic opening actually smells as if you have sprayed on a real fragrance, at least at the beginning. After that, the scent becomes mild and creamy, but a distinct note has not yet crystallized. Only after a few minutes do you first smell the spicy notes; I think the clove is the most prominent here. After that, it becomes a bit more difficult to identify some of the notes. Perhaps you can detect some ginger and anise, but I'm not so sure about the rest like cardamom and cinnamon; maybe they just need a little more time.
After 10 to 15 minutes, almost all previous notes give way to the pepper (black pepper), which pushes to the forefront but still does not become overly strong. The tea only comes into play afterward, albeit quite weak at first, but it becomes stronger over time. Interestingly, the black tea smells really fresh, almost too fresh, as if you had not yet poured boiling water over the dried tea leaves but were just smelling them raw.
A minute or two later, the scent becomes a bit sweeter. It remains slightly spicy, but this is how the fragrance gradually comes to an end, while the black tea increasingly comes into its own and smells even better (this time, however, after being poured with water!).

The longevity is average as always, so the scent starts to fade after about three hours.
The sillage is okay at first, then decreases a bit as usual, but remains at a moderate level.

I expected nothing different from the usual Demeter bottle. But I also expected nothing different from the label, other than just the name being there. However, I have seen some better-designed labels from Demeter and hope that more individually designed labels will be used in the future.

Chai Tea is a fragrant scent that goes through various scent stages. Within 20-30 minutes, you can perceive different notes that you are not usually accustomed to from Demeter, and it is fun to sniff all of this out.

I had hoped for more from the black tea, but oh well, at least you can detect the tea here better than, for example, in Demeter's Earl Grey, and besides, the scent is not supposed to radiate only black tea but rather a spiced tea. And this fragrance succeeds in doing so.
