Pretty but nothing like Earl Grey tea
Demeter's Earl Grey Tea is not bad by any means, but its name is deceiving. When I think of Earl Grey, I think of mainly black tea with a hint of bergamot. Sometimes lavender but that's because I like a London fog. Earl Grey is usually enjoyed hot with milk too. This perfume is 90% refreshing bergamot. I love bergamot! But why call this perfume Earl Grey Tea when the tea barely showed up?
I know fragrances don't technically have temperatures, but certain notes can convey warmth or coolness. This fragrance is completely cool when an Earl Grey fragrance should be warm. When the tiniest hint of the tea note is detected, it almost conveys warmth, but there isn't enough of it.
I think this is a lovely, clean, refreshing fragrance with a misleading name and only 2-3 hours of wear time. It's just not for me.
