Where is my tea?

I like tea, especially black tea. And I particularly enjoy drinking Earl Grey.
Therefore, I was really looking forward to this scent here. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed,…

The scent:
Yes, it does smell like black tea, probably even the delicious Earl Grey tea. The problem is that the scent comes across as extremely weak and is therefore really hard to perceive. But, if you smell closely, you can already recognize the typical note of black tea, but only for a moment. The scent is so weak that you almost wonder if there is even a fragrance in it at all.

The longevity is extremely poor, so that the scent is hardly perceivable after not even 30-40 minutes. Also, the sillage is very weak right from the start; you definitely won’t leave a scent trail here, as you can hardly perceive it yourself.

The perfume liquid is in a small container, which could be described as a simple and plainly designed bottle. It’s sufficient, but looks like nothing special. No effort was made with the label either, so you will search in vain for a small image (for example, a cup of tea). Only the name is printed on it along with a lot of additional text.

Admittedly, this comment here was extremely short. But there was neither a development of the scent nor could I say much about this fragrance note, especially since the scent is so weak and therefore hardly perceptible.

It does smell like tea, but you really have to smell closely. I, for my part, am disappointed, as I had saved this sample until the end because I usually like the smell of tea very much.
And what did I get? Something so weak that you think there is no fragrance note in the sample.

A test is therefore not worth it, and a purchase even less so!
In conclusion, I can only say what an Englishman would probably say: “I’m not amused!”

I can smell something already, but it's unpleasant and definitely doesn't have much to do with Earl Grey. Good comment.

Thanks for the comment!
If I don't want to smell like anything, tap water is enough for me ;-)
