Musc Vénitien… Des Filles à la Vanille

Musk Calf
The scents from Des Filles à la Vanille are all very fleeting, but they are fun. These are not incredibly important developments with extraordinary notes; they are simple, small everyday fragrances that won't break the bank and all have a slightly sweet touch, as the name of the company already suggests.
The Venetian musk is very suitable for musk lovers who do not want to go overboard in their daily lives and find the usual suspects like Jovan too intense, while the luxury variants like Bruno Acompora are too expensive. Here, you can really only catch a hint of musk (hence my title Musk Calf, which is still growing!!). If you want a bit more, you should spray it on your hair and clothes, as the scent lasts a bit longer that way. I can't detect any fruity or green notes; it's simply a lovely skin scent that seems to belong as if you always smell like this. The 100ml bottles are kept simple, which I really appreciate, and they fit well in the hand.
Currently, there is a special offer on the homepage of Des Filles à la Vanille (July 2019); anyone wanting to test the scents can take advantage of it here.
